Privacy

Privacy policy.

Last updated: 7 May 2026

Kraft Digital ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information we collect, hold, and use. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use it, and your rights under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Who we are

Kraft Digital is operated by a New Zealand registered company. Company number 8596826. NZBN 9429051112691. Registered office in Wellington, New Zealand.

Privacy enquiries: hello@kraftdigital.co.nz.

What we collect

When you use this website or engage our services, we may collect:

  • Contact information: your name, email address, phone number, and business details that you provide via our contact and audit forms.
  • Engagement information: details about your business, email program, list, and platforms that you share with us as part of an audit or engagement.
  • Technical information: basic, anonymised analytics about how visitors use the site (page views, referrers). We do not use third-party advertising trackers or cookies for retargeting.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, deliver the services you have engaged us for, and meet our legal obligations. Specifically:

  • To reply to enquiries from our contact form or audit booking form.
  • To deliver, manage, and report on engagements once you become a client.
  • To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations under New Zealand law.

We do not add enquiry contacts to a marketing list. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

How we store it

Information you submit via our forms is stored by Netlify, our hosting and form-processing provider, and accessed by us through their secure dashboard. Operational client information is stored in standard business tools (email, cloud storage, and the email marketing platforms we operate on your behalf), protected by access controls and authentication.

We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, we remove it.

Email marketing on behalf of clients

When we operate email marketing platforms on a client's behalf, we act as a processor of that client's data under the client's own privacy and data-handling policies. We do not use client subscriber data for any purpose other than delivering the contracted service.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Request a correction.
  • Request that we delete it (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner if you believe we have mishandled your information.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@kraftdigital.co.nz and we will respond within 20 working days.

Cookies

This site does not use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies. We may use minimal first-party cookies for site functionality. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to beyond the operation of the site itself.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
